Night of Good Decisions Vol 5
Hey everyone, welcome to my new website.
I am very excited to launch this new platform to help expand my stand up career. If you have made it this far I cannot thank you enough for all of your support. Any time you are wondering what I am up to in comedy be sure to check here as this will be updated weekly.
May has been an exciting month of comedy so far and the next amazing show Kalamazoo Comedy and myself are bringing to the table is my annual story telling show that shares the title of this blog entry "Night of Good Decisions". This is the 5th time I have had the pleasure of putting together this show and like many things it keeps getting better with age.

In this show, groups of two comedians take the stage together, sharing 15 minutes in which they tell their stories. They take turns one comedian to tell the story, one to listen and interject. The other comedian on stage is an intermediary for the audience, asking the questions that may come naturally during any story.
This helps keep the jokes flowing and the stories interesting. Most of our comedians have a lot of practice bringing their prepared material to the stage but less sharing stories that may not be inherently funny. Adding a second person really keeps things moving and improvisational.
I am so happy to continue this show for yet another year in Kalamazoo. Stories are very near and dear to myself and my act. This one night a year has helped me to shape some of my best bits based on my real life. I hope that in providing this opportunity for my peers they are able to be more personal in their comedy and share a bit of themselves on stage.
To me stories are an amazing thing. Everyone has at least one to tell, they are a window to what has been. Be it a segment of time shared with friends, the pulling forth of memory to cherish. Even a misstep that can be used as a lesson. When they are passed down they become larger than life and legendary. Endearing, enduring, and eternal. Join Kalamazoo Comedy Saturday night, May 13th. Come and enjoy the stories we have to share.
